Re: Exhausted even after 1 week of breaking a 2 day dry fast
DL and iandthou,
Good to part of the discussion here, however, feel gulty for making fasters think of food. I had mentioned this to Chris and other old timers that we should have a forum for Re-Feeding, but I don't like that term.
I think Dr. Fuhrman say the same thing as you did, DL. It is not the calories but nutrient dense food that is important. But my point was that many vegans eat small bowl of salad and think they ate a good meal, or had a few fruits and think it is ok. There is a balance between eating to fill the stomach to it's fullest and just eating a small meal. People who eat very small amounts are starving, then they feel weak and they quit.
I do like the idea from Ayurveda, eat as much as fits in your two palms. That is the size of your stomach. I also love the idea of mono meals, because 5 million years ago to fairly recent, 30,000 years ago we ate what we found and did not mix too many foods. Our DNA has to be used to that.
I also eat
Watermelon all day, it has cleansing effect. I eat apples and bananas same way. I love this young lady, Kristina on youtube, a vegan. She looks great and is a great inspirer for those who want to eat raw. Check her video about what she eats in a day, it will be shocking how much she eats and she is soooo skinny.........

I have one issue I want to tackle, perhps after a 30 day fast it will go away. I do not feel really hungry since 20 years ago when I had taken anitacid pills not knowing what was reflux. After that I do not feel hungry like before.
I am going to try one meal a day to see if that helps me with feeling hungry. I eat raw meals these days with occassional tea.
Yes, this is a great long subject to discuss. Perhaps we can bring it to Raw Vegetarian forum.
Thank you both for sharing your knowledge and experience.
