Re: Exhausted even after 1 week of breaking a 2 day dry fast
Thank you for the reply.
I have read about Ayurveda and how much to eat. My parents also taught me that one should eat as much as it fits in your both palms. Hey I learned something new today, though. I did not know it is called Anjali and one could have two Anjalis, which now sounds much better two me, thank you for sharing that.
I guess I do have some reservations about counting calories. Because it does not make sense to me how a 6' tall man and 4.5' man can eat same calories a day. However, many times I have made a mistake and read a lot of people giving up on vegan diet because they eat a lot less than they should, which eventually turns into starvation.
I am glad that you know that you eat sufficient for your body type.
I am in the same boat as you when people around me are sick and eating everything under the sun and I am eating all things that come from plants and not made in a plant. I had such occassion this weekend when I had to visit a friend of ours. They were very glad that I was at their house and were eager to feed me, but everything they presented to me was not good for me. So I explained to them what I eat. So whole day they told me, "you should eat some food." I wanted to tell them they should eat some food. The whole family had diabetes, blood pressure, aching body, headaches, smelly mouths. But I kept my cool. They just stared at me when I only snacked on raw cashews which I had in my bag. I hope they learn a just a little bit from what they saw in two days.
Anyway, I learned something new from you. Please keep posting these helpful things.
