Re: Master cleanser

I'm certainly no expert (I'm only on day 4 of my first cleanse) but lots of people here have done quite long cleanses, and have had superb weight loss results. My main goal is not weight loss ...I'm trying to rid myself of cigarette and alcohol addictions, and the toxins I have put into my body due to those addicitons. However, I'm generally into nutrition and while I have been on this cleanse and preparing for it I have read quite a bit about raw food diets, etc. You can eat more than just fruits and vegetables, for instance nuts and seeds are the primary sources of protein and fat. However, it appears most of the cook books, some of which can get quite gormet and make interesting 'substitute' food for regular cooked favorites, require a juicer and a dehydrator, and sometimes more. Kind of expensive if you ask me and the recipies look very time consuming, but the benefits per testimonials are awewome. A really great website I've found is rawandjuicy.com. I haven't gone raw yet, or even close for that matter, I'm just learning about it now while I'm on the cleanse. Sometimes its much easier to read about a raw food diet for an hour than watch TV and be exposed to a bunch of fast food commercials...I'm am not yet to a point in my fast where I am over those bad food cravings.
