I am also hoping to lose a significant amount of weight. I was 313 lbs (at 5'9") before the holidays and did manage to lose a few
pounds despite the holidays just by using the gazelle.
I am on day 5 of the
Master-Cleanse and it is getting easier for me in terms of hunger. I am mostly hungry at night. I have a very bad habbit of not really eating during the day and then eating right before I go to bed. I hope to be able to break that post-fast.
I am going for 30 days on the
Master-Cleanse and am _considering_ following it with a short water fast, depending on how I feel.
Right now, I think a good weight for me would be between 140-150 lbs, that means losing more than half my body weight. I don't by any means think that I am going to lose all that by fasting, I just want the "fresh start" that people talk about.
I am also a diet coke addict! It's been 5 days since I had any and I think that's the longest I have gone without drinking it in 10 years. I sometimes go through a 12 pack a day, so this is an interesting change.
Anyway, good luck and I wish you well. I'm a total compulsive overeater so if I can get through it I know you can.
