I want to tell you of some techniques to beat stress and cravings. Every time you have stress or cravings, think of a stop sign for twenty seconds, then breathe in for five seconds and out for five seconds for a total of twenty seconds, or for as long as you can, even more than five seconds per breath, and lastly change your posture like smiling or squaring your shoulders back. All three techniques are proven by studies to work. The stop sign works because thinking of a shape distracts us. I just use the stop sign without the other two, and even that alone works. I am wondering how you are doing in your Water Fast as this was written sixteen days ago. I am on Day 1 right now. Seven more hours to go.
