If your doctor gave you flagyl he was smart.

To prevent worms moving out of the gi trac he needed to prescribe a paralyzing agent, ivm, pinx, piperazine.

Close but not good enough.

The good news in what you say is that flagyl worked on your specis, or at least one of them.
