The treatment for ealry Lyme disease is 6 weeks on Doxycycline.

I dont know if all parasites carry Lyme but I did not want to risk it so I took six weeks of Doxy. I got mine from Googling the words Fish & Doxycycline.

Just so you know, if its Lyme the testing is unlikely to pick it up.

I chose not to take the risk.

Augmentin/Bactrim are the Antibiotics used for dental work. People with artificial heart valves and breast implants should take it before a cleaning as the bacteria can lodge in the material and create infection. Bacteria released from teeth cleaning and gum work can also cause Cardiomyopathy. My grandma died from this.

It is the mouth bacteria infecting other tissues.

In your position, I would be getting Bactrim for at least 3 weeks and Doxycycline for 6 weeks.

The only other thought I have is the Lewy Body hallucinations. It is what Robin Williams had in the early stages. He was having hallucinations. One of the major types of hallucinations in this condition is to 'see dead people".

I am not trying to be funny. It's true. To be family members or friends who have died.

That maybe irrelevant for your case. But I encourage you to get the two different types of antibiotic. They perform different functions and target different bacteria.
