I am willing to self treat. I was prescribed albenza back in march presumptively but it didn't really seem to make a difference. Following an abnormal chest xray the dr. Was willing to prescribe a single dose of ivermectin, he then followed up with 2 more doses at my request. But ive done stool testing (which comes back negative...sometimes I wonder if they even really do the test, or just say negative.) Since it seems alot of people have negative stool exams. I have paper cuts show up on my hands and an itchy bottom sometimes. I have had burning un my stomach and movements in my stomach, along with visible movements under my skin...looks like muscle twitching. The dr. Who was helping me initially referred ne to infectious disease bc he felt I needed more testing and treatment and infectious disease drs. Have all dismissed the possibility. I did have an antibody test done, however the results were negative, though they were present, it wasn't high enough to warrant a positive test. However I do have high autoantibodies present, so I think my immune system may be acting up bc of the infection. I just need help. I wish doctors would listen. Tweet
