Glandular Bovine Adrenal - Stopped using and crashing.
When I initially started my adrenal fatigue protocol with my naturopath, she gave me some bovine glandular adrenals/spleen in form of supplement to take 3 times daily, then eventually tapering it off to 1 time daily. I; however, discontinued it's use cold turkey after 2 months of taking it 3 times daily because nutritional balancing seems more appealing to me. Since I stopped taking these meds I've been experiencing some burning sensations/pain in my whole body - especially legs and feet. I've been feeling unwell. Should I be tapering the supplements off instead?
My endo warned against adrenal extracts stating you could get dependent on them and I don't want to take those anymore.
