Re: Dosage for three years old with ADHD?
Thanks to all re posts on this subject.
One small suggestion. I used to buy the magnesium citrate but did not find it worked so well. In that I did not seem to get the benefits of the magnesium. It may be that i had been magnesium deficient for a long time and was building up reserves I do not know. In any case, I switched to getting my magnesium from pumpkin seeds. Like with powder you have to experiment with dosage to get to right levels. I found that for me, a 50 year old man who weighs about 240 lbs, that about 1.25
oz (1 33 cc scoop) was good. added benefit is that its a food and has all sorts of other benefits.
All that being said, I think pumpkin is highish is Omega 6 vs Omega 3 oil, so you may have to increase omega 3 intake. I do not know.
Re iodine, I have just started to experiment with sea vegetables (ie Dulse and Kelp) have not tried the kelp yet but its o my todo list. I prefer getting nutrients if I can from foods as eating them has multiple purposes, filing me up, tasting good and providing nutrients.
Not sure about
Iodine vs
Iodide availability in sea vegetables, so would like some help with this.
Lots to learn and appreciate any and all input.
