John 8:47
He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

i dont need doctrine to explain that. i would, however, need doctrines of men to explain it away or convince myself that i dont need to worry about that cause jesus has me covered.

John 9:16
Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

1 John 3:10
In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

either jesus did it all and you can go back to the TV or we must follow him and do what he did, including picking up our instrument of crucifixion for the day when we are ready for that experience. you get to do it all, you dingleberries. how else you gonna get to know jesus and vice versa? hes not standing in front of you. you have to share in his experiences and let his words interpret them for you. you must walk out the scriptures so they become a part of you. you have to repent. really repent. literally change your mind and how it operates.
