A chance encounter on a train led to Mariora Goschen becoming the star of one of the most iconic album covers in history. Forty five years later, she was picked to appear in Simon Pegg’s next film while watching it being filmed at Waterloo Station in London.
Ms Goschen appeared topless, aged 11, on the cover of the only album produced by Blind Faith, the supergroup featuring Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Steve Winwood.
I recently read a story about children who had appeared on famous album covers and how it had affected their lives. This started me thinking about the girl on probably the most controversial cover ever, allegedly being only 11 years old when her picture was taken.
It doesn't appear to have done her any harm, she went on to earn an MSc, BA and BSc and now works as a therapist.
