Tithing, rituals and going to church will save no one.  If you have read my past posts you would know that I do not believe this anymore than you do.  Instead of reading scriptural parroting why don't you get it from the real source.  The plan of salvation is found in the Bible.  Anyone who knows how to read can understand it from the real source.   Yes, the Bible has mysteries within its pages, but God made the plan of salvation clear.  You do not need a theological degree to understand the plan of salvation.  I would not trust any man, not even one with a theological degree, to explain it to me.  I would not trust my soul to someone who claimed a theological degree even though I personally have one.   You see, if you read the Bible you will clearly see that the Bible also warns us of many who will come in His name to deceive you.  The Bible warns us of wolves, false prophets, false teachers and ministers in the business to deceive and for selfish gain.  Many of these false ministers have theological degrees. Don't trust someone just because they have a theological degree!   What is wonderful is that we not only can read it straight from the Bible for ourselves, but that we do not have to go through any minister for salvation.  We can pray directly to God for ourselves.  We can even ask Him to show us the truth.  We can ask Him to explain scriptures to us. We can ask Him to remove deception from us.  We can ask Him to unblind our eyes and help us to see the truth of it all.  We can call on His name and all that goes with that, for ourselves, and be saved.
