even if it's not their fault and of course it's not. There are still ways to stay safer and to lower the chances of being attacked. If someone is drinking with people she does not know, it is her responsibility to always have her glass within eye contact. Even if it's not her "fault" if she gets raped, it's her responsibility to look after herself. Hers and no one else's. The world is full of bad people and of course being a victim can't be her fault. But she can and should do whatever she can to prevent it from happening. Everyone is reponsible for themselves. Criminals and rapists are out there. We have no way of changing that.
