Re: healthy life long diet with one time MC
Good for you! If you have no ongoing cleansing goals (as I do with my colon) you should do very well eating in a manner that doesn't put trash IN! What you are describing seems to be pretty much a cleansing diet.
I have continued since breaking with a cleansing/rebuilding diet heavy on the fruits and veggies, fruit and good quality yogurt for breakfast, lots of salads and light soups... fruit/veg juices (fruit am, veg pm), small amounts of chicken breast/fresh fish, whole grains and beans. I like to poach my chicken breast with vegetables, and use the stock or drink it straight. I also like a potassium broth made from vegetables.
Since my big cleanse this summer, my body truly enjoys this diet, and truly BALKS at wrong eating (I am happy to report)!
This is of course our long term goal: to get the garbage out and live in a way that KEEPS it out! Naturally this includes exercise as well as clean, nourishing diet.
Best to you in health,
Somer
