Re: Paleo Advice from Elite Endurance Athlete

Personally, I don't really have a problem with people eating 'paleo', as long as it is a somewhat balanced and allows eating high-carb fruits and vegetables that paleo people would have eaten. I agree that a paleo diet is not inherently low-carb, but then you have all of these 'paleo' gurus that will tell you to eat this vegetable but not another one because of whatever stupid reason. The way that this athlete eats paleo, or the way I would assume Fectoid and others eat that has a balance of many different foods, yes probably higher on the fat and lower on the carbs, that's fine as long as it is balanced. The only person on this forum that I really completely 100% disagree with is Fivetoedsloth, who tells us to only eat raw meat and raw greens, that is just total nonsense and there are many 'paleo' diet gurus who preach nonsense.
