Re: Paleo Advice from Elite Endurance Athlete
I don't know why it's so hard for some of you Paleo people to read what I write. I said "He may be lower-carb, but he is certainly not low-carb."
"Paleo" is defined as low-carb by it's gurus and I was asking for low-carb endurance athletes (which includes Paleo) and the few people you could find seem most likely they are eating 40-30-30 ratio than a low-carb ratio.
I never said this guy wasn't eating "Paleo-approved" foods, but those foods are only part of what "Paleo" is said to be as the other part is low-carb.
If it's just "Paleo-approved" foods that makes a diet Paleo, then the 80-10-10 raw vegan diet would be considered "Paleo".
And Tim Olson is not eating low-carb or Paleo by all the sweet potatoes he eats as the Paleo gurus say if you can't be hunted or picked, it's not Paleo.
These guys might be in the "Paleo realm", but I was hoping to see true Paleo endurance athletes like the true high-carb/low-fat Kenyan runners.
