C'mon, because he tries to get through a workout without supplementing it with food, doesn't mean that he promotes calorie restriction. He's training his body, in a very short window of time, to perform longer and more efficiently. That's normal athletic training. He's otherwise eating as many calories as he needs.
C'mon again. He's not contradicting himself. The word "supplement" as used in the first quote "I not only save a lot of money on supplements, but have a mind at ease that I don't need them.", is not the same as "supplementation" as used in the second quote, where he's referring to supplementation with foods. "I could maintain moderate levels of exercise for longer periods of time without supplementation. However, supplementation extends the length even longer. I'm less likely to hit the wallť."
