Coconut oil stopped the excessive mucus in my throat. Nutiva brand at GNC 1 teaspoon per day. I don't have to clear my throat continuously anymore. It is solid at room temperature but it melts in your mouth. Pleasant coconut taste if you like coconut. Simple but I think works.
