I have found that coconut oil stopped the excessive mucus in my throat. Nutiva brand at GNC or online. I don't have to clear my throat continuously anymore. It's been a miracle for me. It's a solid at room temperature but it melts in your mouth 1 teaspoon per day. It gives you energy also. You won't find your answer at the doctors office I tried for many years I've been to dozens of ENT's. I've had my throat scoped dozens of times. I've tried nose sprays, mucinex,reflux meds.
