the amount of elemental Iodine in 50mg of Lugols is historically enough to address all the deficiency syndromes such as FBD and PCOS and even high PSA numbers for the prostate. i also think its plenty of elemental, especially if it is magnetized in some way. Lugols is a serious substance.

and even though this form of Iodine is like medicine and Iodide is like food, if the body is deficient it will use the elemental for food as evidences by all elemental Iodine being out of serum in two hours flat - it peaks and then leaves. i guess no one knows if it is absorbed directly or if it is converted but still in circulation. the elemental doesnt last long. and it is harsh.

so the key is to feed the body with plenty of KI so that the elemental is more available to do the other things like pick up potassium from the nodules on the ovaries.
