Thanks again for providing the world with what you have discovered on septics. I have been frustrated so far by our local providers. They are not open to investigating causes of the failure, only sticking rods in the ground and saying, "yeah, it's saturated everywhere, you need a new system". Our county prohibits terra lift or any ground aeration, and I have yet to find anyone that does hydro jetting services. I have no risers at all and I'm hesitant to have them put in if they are going to force me to replace the system and destroy it all anyway. My plan would be hydro jetting, installing an effluent filter, followed by septic seep and long term (if it works) adding risers and worms for the soil (not sure about in the tank yet).
