Just found out it was all in my head.
I'm glad you found your cure. For most of us though, this definitely does not apply. I was told that I had delusional disorder as well. Most of the doctors I visit told me that they don't smell anything either, except for 1 young one, who told me it was my breath. But yet the other patients in the waiting room, co-workers, some family members all have strong reactions. If it's just the allergic and non-verbal reactions, then maybe there's a chance that it's all in my head. But unfortunately, it doesn't end there. You see, people say all kinds of nasty things about me and sometimes to me as well, and the gossip spreads like wild fire.
I'm convinced that general practitioners (family doctors) and certainly psychologist are simply not equipped or trained to fix this condition/ailment/disease/imbalance, whatever you want to call it.
Having cope with this for over 14 years, I feel like a failure for not being able to fix it yet. What I've observed from my interactions with people in general, including medical professionals is that they are completely ignorant about it.
