Re: Do you want to look like a pig?
Physically, not really... but similar in the sense where you can not leave a pet pig home alone without them eating your entire kitchen.. my partner is the same way. He cant be left alone without eating everything in sight.
Pigs have the intelligence of about a 3 year old human being... but more stubborn. They will eat until they puke if you'd let them... and if you do not give them a designated space in the yard to root for grubs, they'll tear everything up to help cull their urges to root... and to be an ass because they're pissed.
Barefoot seems to be the least credible imo. He might be right about some things that have been common knowledge... but I would put money on it that he blabs more than anything.. likes to tell people what they should do, but won't tell anyone what his family eats in a day and swears his kids haven't been vaccinated or to a doctor or dentist, but that can't possibly be true. His kids are in public school and there is no way around vaccine exemptions anymore or doctors/dentist physicals if your child attends any US public school... religious expemtion means nothing anymore. Unless there is some life threatening circumstances, there's no way around it... not even home school kids can get out of it anymore... they were putting kids in foster care and fining parents for truancy because the kids aren't allowed in any type of school without all the above... theres a million more things but this isnt the barefoot thread.
Any diet that was invented by one person can not be meant for everyone. There are too many variables between each person to accurately figure out what someone needs.
Paleo might be ok for body builders and cavemen and fruit diets might be ok for average people who aren't athletic... carbs and some protein for the people who are athletic
And i don't know what to say about
Iodine supplementing. Its looking like it isn't meant for everyone. Who knows...
