I went to a gen practioner and he told me I tested for extremely high levels of bacteria but didn't tell me which. He said it wasn't Candida Albicans per se, but another bacteria. It was in fungal/yeast form. I can tell you that I had thrush and rashes on my genitals, tonsil stones, plus a host of typical symptoms. So whichever bacteria it was, it acted just like Candida. I think the key here is that my immune system was weak allowing that bacteria to grow unchecked. By upping my Vitamin D, my immune system was able to function more normally, thus controlling the bacterial overgrowth. I even had it in my eyes, it was pretty much everywhere. I had to take as much D as I did because I don't properly absorb my nutrients due to my damaged gut.
