Re: Cortisol imbalance cause candida
I think the waking up is low glycogen reserves, which normally cortisol would balance out, but as the majority of AF sufferes have low cortisol, the body tries to balance itself and then produces adrenaline as a replacement , which is the waking up anxious.
I have found with me, Glutamate has been one of the biggest problems with sleep. Since I have been using NAC my sleep has improved MASSIVELY. I avoided NAC for so long because of all the Curezone scare stories about it (really potent blah blah) - i have possibly one of the most sensitive systems due to pharma med damage, and have had no side effects from NAC other than a little flushing when i first started. Quietens the minds no end. Still wake up but am able to go back to sleep as my mind is'nt going 'arghhhhhh'. Mixed with some pantethine, ACE, and C in the day, and magnesium and melatonin at night, its definitely a good route to take..
I would love to see these acupuncture pressure points of you could explain, that would be awesome!
