Cortisol imbalance cause candida

(written from the AF standpoint as topic was crossposted)

Its fairly standard knowledge that AF causes Candida, due to the face that the body is in permanent fight or flight mode and therefore reducing all metabolic processes (detoxification, digestion etc) to cope with the load.

Do you have AF (stress disorder) or more like CFS? Most with AF find it hard to sleep especially with the likes of DHEA.

The prog cream felt good possibly because it is a Benzo receptor agonist - very much like Valium and Xanax, pop one of those bad boys and you feel great also! But Prog does have additional benefits - reducing Estrogen which is a major factor in AF , Dr Lam has written much on that, but it takes longer than a week, but you can after a few weeks begin to 'antogonise' the estrogen while it fights for hormone superiority, and many find they feel pretty awful on it for a month or so, till the Prog takes over.

This is a great site to read if you are using Prog

My idea would be that you either needed to up-dose your Prog, but I have no real experience when it comes to Hormone supplementation, only what I have learnt from the likes of that site. Have you had a full spectrum hormone saliva test? it will show you if your Prog is sufficient, or Estrogen is overloaded. Might be a good start to help you try to balance your hormones.

Low cortisol can destroy digestion, maybe the Candida isnt the entire problem? Just a theory, I chased Candida and realised its all a load of baloney when its not systematic. Dr Poesnicker wrote in Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome Unmasked something like Candida will of course be present in all major chronic illnesses but the body will sort it out once it is functioning better.

Just a few thoughts..
