Hi, I got the mirena just over 3 years ago, before i did, i had arm numbness and chest pains, but since mirena my problems have become more severe. I went to a chiropractor firsr, thinking pinched nerve, he said he thought it was a pinched nerve and we started alighnments. After almost a year and not much relief unless i went every other day, i quit going. Then i went to my family doc, he diagnosed me with a Romboid muscle sprain, gave me anti inflamatories, muscle relaxers, pain meds, told me to ice 3 times a day, and i got steriod injections. I didnt feel it was helping, so i went to a spine specialist, did an mri and came back clean. Nothing to explain the pain. My left shoulder blade, shoulder, and arm hurt constantly. It tingles into my fingertips. My muscles are so tight u can feel the knots! Today i cant even bend my arm out straight because its so tense and knotted. Im wondering if this could be from mirena.... What are ur thoughts? I also do have anxiety, i get very frustrated that im in so much pain. Thanks for your advice Tweet
