Mirena has ruined our life! severe leg pain, numbness, tingling, hair loss, back pain, migraines, weakness, dizziness.

After 6 months of watching my 22 yr old daughter suffer and taking her to every hospital, neurologist, pain specialist, and after her latest 9 day stay at the hospital..... a pain specialist finally told us 'I think she needs to have her IUD/MIRENA taken out'. She has constant/dibilitating leg pain, numbness, difficulty walking, tingling in legs/arms/hands, hair loss, back pain, migraines, weakness, dizziness. She has been thru complete HELL and tested for every auto-immune disorder, (they thought she too had MS) had MRI's, cat scans, bone marrow testing, spinal taps.... all in attempts to figure out why she is so sick and in so much pain. She had the Mirena taken out Friday. I pray to God these symptoms are going to go away, it has taken over and practically ruined our lives. I am so angry, hurt and feel betrayed that all along it appears the IUD is the cause of all this. If anyone has had similar symptoms and had it removed, and has any words of encouragement/hope we could sure use it. Thank you, Heather Tweet
