Re: What Adrenal Fatigue Really Is - General Adaptation Syndrome
Hey saywhatagain,
First, thanks for responding.
I know my methods for disseminating information lack a bit of elegance, maybe even a bit abrasive (part of the reason I ended up with this illness), but I like to express my thoughts on things I feel strongly about. And I have 5 years of experience under my belt in dealing with this, so I have a little bit of knowledge regarding what has helped me.
While I do believe that adequate caloric intake is important, my message mainly revolves around the importance of carbohydrates and nutrition. But I know you are well aware of the importance, so I'll leave it at that.
I don't believe that calories by themself will heal all diseases, or any for that matter. But a
healthy Diet that provides adequate nutrition and fuel is the foundation for restoring health.
I am symptom free except for a mental fog, mainly occurring after meals. I've been at this for about 5 years now and have had the fog the whole time, except for a few times when I went raw vegan.
Best of luck to you.
