Re: What Adrenal Fatigue Really Is - General Adaptation Syndrome
hey c.b., I have had ups and downs but overall I am improving. I have been using the principles of Ayurveda to try to cure myself and overall I am having good results but I have also made some mistakes and it takes time. Yes, brain fog is something that I have been dealing with for the past 2 years as well as many other problems.
I actually agree with some of the things that you have been posting but I haven't responded or got involved because of the confrontational attitude you seem to have. Since I am already responding to you now, I will state my opinion on a couple of things that I have observed from your posts. I agree with your thinking on carbohydrates, yes they are absolutely vital to human health and IMO they should be our main source of calories. People that are intolerant to carbohydrates have impaired digestion. Restricting carbohydrates leads to further impaired digestion and further intolerances to carbohydrates, I have personally experienced this as well as just about every other person that has tried low-carb diets. While there is some wisdom to telling people with adrenal fatigue to get the proper amount of calories, as you and Natway are so adamant about, personally, I believe it is utter nonsense to say all diseases are caused by and can be cured by getting the proper amount of calories. Natway is really the first one that started this approach but you seem to be saying the same thing in a lot of your posts. If this was the case, that just getting the proper amount of calories with the correct macro-nutrients, then curing all types of diseases would be exceedingly easy, when in fact curing most diseases is very difficult.
