Re: Adrenal Fatigue, Hypothyroidism, Heavy metal toxins, elevated melatonin, low vitamin D, food intolerances
Firstly, being able to eat fruit at any "stage of AF" is quite debatable. Secondly, the OP of this thread should not even remotely suspect AF, when his tests clearly show poorly functioning thyroid and heavy metal toxicity. If and only if his issues aren't resolved when treating these first, should he and his physician seek other causes.
You cannot possibly be telling me that the coconut oil, which is frequently used in the paleo diet to replace calories and contains 0 vitamins or minerals, is better than eating nutrient dense fruit, which contains several of the vitamins and minerals you probably supplement with to combat adrenal fatigue.
Just because you can't tolerate fruit doesn't mean it is the same for everyone else and by making claims like you did, you prevent people from healing.
Maybe your intolerance to fruit is caused by your lack of carbohydrate consumption. I felt the same way you did once upon a time and could not tolerate a single green apple until I went on a 100% high carb raw vegan diet. It only took a few days of feeling the best I ever had in my life to realize what a joke the low carb diets are.
Carbs turn into glucose, which is what your body and brain run off of. Yes, the liver can convert protein to glucose, but the process to do so is far greater with many more steps than that of carbs to glucose. You don't think that takes a toll on your adrenals?
