Re: BB and BO that doesnt get better with diet, flushes, etc
@eversearching,
I know that diet plays a huge part in my success or failure. When I eat vegetables and low-carb meals, I don't get a reaction to people. The problems is that after a few days, my body binges on food that I've missed and I can't control it. At this point, I have going back and forth like this for a few months. I have finally gotten used to eating vegetables and now they are not so bad. I was eating only broccoli, which has worked in the past, but I coated it with dairy free and soy free butter substitutes, which of course was cheating. I got tired of broccoli and started with only cauliflower with salt and pepper only. 2 days later and no reactions although people still cover their noses if I have a bowel movement.
From past experience, I know that if I remain strict with this diet and improve the gut of my health and don't relapse, I will slowly be able to introduce other foods and live odor free. However, I am not sure if I will ever want to eat
Sugar again. It is not worth it and I can't stop eating it. I also am going to limit my dairy big time as I now realize that was the main cause of my sweaty, fecal
Body Odor (and
Sugar too). I am taking a dairy free probiotic instead of yogurt and kefir, which I now realize made my
Body Odor even more putried. Under the success stories, I am seeing some people who said the odor gradually went away when they stopped dairy. I tried the dairy substitutes and that didn't work either. Honestly, there is plenty for me to eat without eating a lot of dairy. It beats having to eat cauliflower all day.
I'm glad we are both narrowing down our problems to specific foods in out diet. I had completely lost hope. Good luck!
