I'll give you my reason almost all the low-carb guru can't stick to their diet, it's because humans weren't made to eat low-carb. Carbs are the body's preferred source of fuel--that's why we have a sweet tooth--and using fat for fuel is just a backup in case a person can't get enough carbs. The body's constant desire for carbs (sweet tooth) is why hardly any of the low-carb gurus can stick to their diet. However, notice ALL the low-fat gurus seem to have no problem sticking to their diet because they are constantly feeding their bodies what it mostly wants; carbs.
I advise you to make the transition to high-carb/low-fat too.
