Re: Constipated

Great post W. One of the better I have seen about the female fart theory:))

From your link;"The second thing that stress hormones do is shut down our digestive fire. This digestive fire comes from the gastric juices that we need to break down proteins and turn “on” energizing vitamins—like vitamin B12—and from digestive enzymes. Without stomach acid and enzymes, food sits like a brick in the gut."

YES, exactly.

I have been through it, years, decades of it.

- constipation is a part of the hypo T picture; and since you have had a goiter such a long time, I believe you need to be patient. Iodine, loads of it; try even gram sizes if you get hold of Trappers iodine. Vit c and magnesium; split up the dosages, 3-4 times a day.

Take a good vit B complex, liquid preferably if you have a weak digestion. I had great benefit of a liquid B12 from Now food, all the other B`s are in there too. This is the single most effective supplement I ever took for my digestion.

A visit to a homeopath or an acupuncturist may help you over a hurdle. I have done this a few times when I felt I was stuck and couldnt get out of it on my own.
