Re: Salt Water Flush - Never Again!!! (don't follow with juice)

Very well said, #63778. Additionally, the medical community has been posting ill advice to attempt to combat the natural remedies that do work. Many of the "experts" in the links are "dietitians” of whom are actually very limited in scope. I had a dietitian criticize what a licensed nutritionist had done for me. The dietitian knew nothing. It was actually frightening to see how little the do know. My nutritionist had her MA in nutrition. She had helped me tremendously, and the dietitian mocked her until I came back with just how wrong she was (and she stormed off).

I, personally, did the Master Cleanse, and was AMAZED at the benefits it did. It cleared up 2 conditions that I’d had for years AND had seen doctors with regard to the conditions. I’m certainly not saying it’s a cure all. Nevertheless, it certainly helped me.

Having said that, in the future, OP may want to try 2 tsp of salt to 32 ounces, as opposed to 2 Tbsp. A laxative tea the night before the salt water cleanse may help, followed by the salt water first thing in the AM.

As the poster who thinks he/she is “enlightened,” (LOL – and I suspect he/she and “wow” are the same person): said person sounds very bitter. Perhaps they just prefer to go the lazy root and use medicine as a quick cure all. What a bitter bitter person they are. I, personally, am NOT a menopausal woman. I am vegetarian and do NOT eat cheeseburgers and unnecessary fat. I AM educated and have my degree. And I can say for a certainty that my great aunts and grandparents had passed on AMAZING “old wives tales,” that WORKED! The reasoning may have been flawed - the methods were not. So, don’t mock the “uneducated” (although my parents who passed along such wisdom, and some of my grandparents were educated – they offered pearls of wisdom far beyond any institution). Wisdom doesn’t come from a classroom – neither does compassion. Both of which you are sorely lacking – as well as solid research skills.
