In fact there was an actual study of what newborns most prefer to eat. And it was...

raw animal brains.

I agree that bloody meat is pretty gross. But I do like and crave raw fish, especially clams and other sushis. And many people do prefer steaks done rare/raw.

There are no rules that say one has to exclude the other. I love most fruits, raw clams and sushi, avocados, rare steaks, and lots of other variety.

Zero carb I do not think is sustainable in the long term for all but a tiny amount of people.

Ketogenic diets are proven to work for epilepsy and most of them are not doing it raw.

Also paleolithic people were most certainly not omnivores, that is one thing that everyone agrees with. Grains were not around then. Hence the term paleolithic diet which excludes grain and dairy in some versions.

It's a good discussion but the level of research here is very low from all parties involved.
