Re: Herbert M. Shelton and people quoting his literature

FastingGuru,
I am not looking for an argument or wish to enter into a debate, but the Hygienists experience of yesterday is the same as it is today: digestive energy is diverted to cleansing and healing when sickness and illness take hold, and why it is rare to have a strong demand for food (if any) when ill (anyone will tell you this).

Of course metabolism does go on all of the time (did I ever mention that it did not)?
There are over 140 scientific references on fasting located at the rear of Fuhrmans book so not entirely sure where exactly you were looking.

It is clear that your are arguing and debating for the sake of it, but I have more productive matters to be getting on with and would rather not waste my time when I can devote it to others.
