Can someone explain why curezone fasting participants quote Herbert M Shelton even though he was not a license doctor and after everything he wrote in his books he could not cure his own nuero-muscular disease?
I do advocate fasting but take all literature about the subject as food for thought and focus on how I feel when fasting. Some of the responses I read sometimes quoting Shelton with little comprehension of who they are recommending these ‘facts’ to makes me cringed. I feel the fasting community in general is ego fueled and I rarely feel that the main participants are being thoughtful about their advice.
So please discuss what you think of Shelton’s contribution to the fasting community and your thoughts on the people who quote his books as if they were preaching from the bible.
