Thanks for your response! Yes, I hate Lunesta and all benzo's. I was so happy to get off of them after years of being their slave.

That's so interesting about cortisol and adrenaline. I didn't realize they were so closely related. Thank you! I'll talk to my doctor about this.

I'm getting a test kit for a cortisol saliva test today, so we'll see.

Also fascinated by what you said about marijuana. I tried it a few times in high school and was wired, paranoid, couldn't sleep and practically having panic attacks. I refused ever to try it again. Tyrosine has the same effect on me, and I think that also raises dopamine. My brain does not seem to like dopamine at all.
