Please help figure out my hormonal depression!

I started getting Depression when I had a Mirena put in 16 months ago, I subsequently had it taken out 10 months ago and it has been a rollercoaster ever since...

Age:24
Years on the pill:12
Time with Mirena:5 months
Current contraception: none (condoms)

Last year i kept on randomly feeling faint, this lead to me having a Mirena. From then i started having panic attacks and depression. I had it taken out 10 months ago and my symptoms have been crazy. Most things now have calmed down, however I still stuffer from dizzy spells, severe energy loss episodes, anxiety that comes and goes and finally severe depression.

The symptoms are at their worst for 2-3 weeks of the month starting on 4th day of my period and finishing a week before my period is due... so the COMPLETE OPPOSITE to normal women with PMS.

Things I have done so far: very healthy Diet (no wheat, dairy, everything organic, no junk food, and I am currently experimenting with gluten free as my digestive system has been sluggish since coming off the Mirena). I have had counselling, hypnotherapy, various natural doctors and nutritionists and multiple doctors visits and blood tests, which end up with me being told to go on anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds - this is not the underlying problem!

I also have constant left upper abdominal pain, finally my doctor is taking this seriously and I am going for scans soon to check there is no underlying problem.

To clarify I get Depression because I am so fed up of not feeling like myself and having constant niggling pain, which all started when I had Mirena fitted. I am wondering if my progesterone is low, as my body seems to be working best for a week before my period and a couple of days in to my period?

Any help would be really appreciated, I am ready to get over this, I have been working so hard for over 10 months now and my Depression at times gets so bad that I feel I would rather be dead than feel this way ( I would never act on this though).
