OMG this person is a dope. Whenever people start spouting about how much this or that plant has of this or that mineral it makes me cringe.

Why?

Because they never mention the region where it is grown or the soil type. Soil quality determines the mienral content of plants plain and simple. There are regions in the U.S. for example where selenium is deficient from the soil. Eat all so-called selenium rich foods from produce grown in these areas and you will still not be getting selenium into your body.
