Re: I am very lost with how to proceed

Thanks for the reply. I am 35 years old

I don’t know if there is a way to post my records/results or if I can send an attachment with a pdf.

Here are some of my results

I looked at some old tests. One was done when the Urologist was evaluating my Variococele. In 2009 my Testosterone was 377 ng/dL. My Free Testosterone was 11.1 pg/ML

In April of this year I had the Cardio Ion panel test done. It was done fasting. Here are some of the results:

Lipoprotein Factors
Total Cholesterol 205 mg/dL
HDL Cholesterol 57 mg/dL
LDL Cholesterol (Direct) 138 mg/dL
Triglycerides 87 mg/dL
Lipoprotein (a) 46 mg/dL

Lipoprotein Ratios
LDL/HDL 2.4
Total/HDL 3.6

Insulin 5.4 ulu/Ml
Testosterone 332 ng/dL
Sex Hormone Binding Globulin 26 nmol/L

25-Hydroxyvitamin D 25.5
25-Hydroxyvitamin D2 3.4
25-Hydroxyvitamin D3 22.1

I got some more bloodwork done in October 2013. It was done not fasting (as per the Dr)

Of note:
Homocysteine 13.5 Umol/L
Lactate Dehydrogenase LDH 156 U/l LOW
Vitamin B12 583 pg/mL
Cholesterol 183 mg/dL
LDL calculation 92.8
Chol/HDL ratio 3.33
HDL cholesterol 55mg/dL
Triglycerides 176 mg/dL
Testosterone total 236 ng/dl
Testosterone FREE 56
Free Testosterone % 2.37
Vitamin B6 high at 45.5 ng/mL
Ab sorbic acid <0.12 mg/dL
Vitamin K 4343 pg/mL – high
LDL Particle Number 1615 nmol/L – High
LDL cholesterol 116 mg/dL
Triglycerides 174 mg/dL
Cholesterol , total 210 mg/dL
Small LDL Particle number 713 High
Vitamin D,1,25 OH 2 total 85 pg/mL
Vtiman d3 85
Vitamin d2 <8

At this point I am so sick of dealing with all of this…taking all of this. I can’t find a competent doctor and I don’t want to keep dealing with all of this. One of the main reasons that I started this was because of my fatigue and anxiety. At this point, this is making me tired and anxious. I just want to head off any problems – disease etc.

One of the things that is confusing to me: If I take one thing, do I have to take another to balance it out (for example if you are taking this amount of D you need to take calcium and other stuff). I just want a simple plan. I also don’t want to take too much of anything and be over where I should be and have a problem. How often should you be getting blood tests?

How do I optimize my DHEA? By taking it? Is there any detriment to taking it? How much and what brand/type should I be taking?
Is there any detriment to taking DHEA?

Should I keep taking the d3 (5000 a day)
Should I worry about the vitamin C, Cholesterol and LDH?

Thank you in advance
