I am very lost with how to proceed
I ATTEMPTED TO ATTACH MY TEST RESULTS, BUT COULDN'T SEE HOW
A couple of years ago I started having major fatigue. I also suffer from anxiety. I saw a bunch of doctors who told me it was a side effect of the anti depressants. When I got off of them I was told that it was a byproduct of anxiety or that I was a hypochondriac. I don’t have much faith in doctors any longer.
Desperate for answers, I decided to get a cardio ion panel (
http://www.metametrix.com/test-menu/profiles/integrated-profiles/cardio-ion
) test done and contact Dr Sherry Rogers for a phone consult. The test was $800 out of pocket and $600 bucks to talk to Sherry. I am attaching the test results – fasting/may 2013. She told me that I had a “ton” of deficiencies and gave me a list of vitamins to take (I am attaching that list as well). I spoke to her a couple of months later for a half hour ($300) and she answered some more questions. I just couldn’t afford to talk to her anymore. I was also getting overwhelmed by taking all of that stuff. The fact that the vitamins cost 800 bucks to start and another few hundred a month. Couple the expense with the fact that she is difficult to schedule consults with made this no longer an option.
I heard a Doctor on the radio (
http://drcalapai.net/
) named Dr Calapai. I decided to see him and get a second opinion. He had me do a ton of testing that he told me would be covered by insurance (I hope so as it says 19,000 on my health insurance site). He wanted to do allergy testing etc (I had some done in the past) which would be another 800 bucks out of pocket. I decided against that. I am attaching those results too – not fasting (dr didn’t want me to) october 2013. The course of action that he proposed:
Vitamin b-12 shots two times a week
Testosterone shots 1cc once a week
Vitamin C iv once a week
Vitamin D3 – 5000iu once a day and shots twice a month
Less carbs
Glucose tolerance test
He said that I have 3 out of the 4 markers for Epstein Barr
He also wanted to test my urine for metals
He also said I had aluminum and should get chelation or peroxide iv
He said my cholesterol was ok
It is a 4 hour drive and he is an out of network physician so I decided to get another opinion before proceeding. I also was hesitant.
The next doctor that I saw said no to the testosterone – since my free is fine. She also said not to do the Vitamin C iv, but just take tablets. She was ok with the D and B12. She wanted me to see and endocrinologist for the testosterone and a cardiologist for the cholesterol. She said not to worry about the Epstein barr.
I spoke to my primary care on the phone. I have an appointment to see him in a couple of weeks. He still wants me to go gluten free.
A friend of mine suggested that I talk to her chiropractor/naturopath. He mentioned that I had low LDH. He also suggested going gluten free. He agreed with the vitamin D. The LDH wasn’t mentioned by anyone else. My testing also showed that I have very low vitamin C. I read that large doses of vitamin C can lower LDH further.
I saw the Endocrinologist who said not to worry about the cholesterol or testosterone. He said that the testosterone injections can keep your body from producing it properly in the future
I am attaching the two tests. The cardio ion was done fasting. The October 2013 testing was not. I am also attaching the list of vitamins that I was taking (I have since discontinued)
Obviously at this point, I am tired, overwhelmed and confused.
What should I be taking?
How much D3?
Dr Mark Hyman says that when taking these large dosages of Vitamin D3 that
Monitor your vitamin D status until you are in the optimal range. If you are taking high doses (10,000 IU a day) your doctor must also check your calcium, phosphorous, and parathyroid hormone levels every 3 months.
Do I need to do that? And what about this

Should I get testosterone injections? Vitamin C injections?
Some of the vitamins that Sherry had me taking (the K, The selenium) were through the roof. This makes me confused on what I should be taking
