hi. when you say d. fragilis is what is often mistaken for eh.do you mean it is proably eh and not d. fragilis and their getting the diagnosis wrong because they are inexperienced lab techs. true they do say you might also wanted to be tested for pin worm eggs .but they also say and"transmission via helminth eggs {eg,ascaris, enterobius} has been postulated. hence why they want you to be tested because they are suspicious. yes true metro is garbage drug.It amazes me how much they don't know which drugs don't work for which infections and even when they give you the right drug its the wrong dosage.
