The link which you have embedded in your post is an excellent source of information since these guys have access to the original devices and they're very competent in this field. Beside reading Lakhovsky books I also bought their ebooks and that was an excellent investment as well as learning experience.
Yes, I have build one and I'm currently working on second version, closer to the original. My previous prototype employed bi polar coil, which I consider a "true" Tesla gift.
Creator of the original - George Lakhovsky had very good idea how his device will work and it amazes me how could he possibly figure this out almost 90 years ago.
His invention isn't a hoax but some interpretations might be wrong and this also applies to other brilliant discoveries.
Where the money talks even bovine excrement may start walking.
