I'm happy for you. Your doing great. Religious subjects do tend to come up during fasting discussions because some of us fast for spiritual reasons. I agree that you didn't have anything to do with starting the discussion. Freedom of speech is good. A person can learn a lot by listening to another's beliefs. Many cults do not allow their people to read books, talk to others about other beliefs etc. That is because they are afraid that their people will wake up to the truth and leave their cult. Their people are so brainwashed they fall for it causing them to live their whole life in a false belief system. Of course, they are lied to about the reason they are not allowed these freedoms. They are made to think it is for their own good so they will not become confused etc.
