People have suggested things for you to put in your mouth. I'll make a
suggestion for things to heal you as spirit which most people think of as your
mind.
Try some meditation. Take at least twenty minutes a day for this form
of inner peace. Find a meditation that works for you. I use
grounding and centering in my meditation. Here's an article on meditation
and abuse - and it does raise its ugly head in adulthood after forgotten

We are such an orally programmed society that people forget that simple
mindful techniques work too. Meditation is a form of prayer and you know
that there are loads of people who use prayer to cure difficulties. You
can too. Twenty minutes a day is a great beginning and you can increase
that time from there.
