I once had a buscapam injection for the liver prior to an MRI. The burning I experience went ten fold through the body. The next thing I remember is I could not get up from a headache so severe they rushed me for a ct of the brain, thinking I may have a bleed. It is another reason why I feel the burning is coming from an immune response or liver. The burning does not feel like nerve damage, it is an internal heat that burns badly all throughout the body. For example if I lay on my back and sleep it will intensify on my back from lack of circulation. If I exercise my muscles by stretching it will slightly relieve.
