Re: +3 Streptococcus and no growth of beneficial Lactobacillus.

I've been lucky to only need Antibiotics a few times in my life and always resulted in a yeast infection afterwards. (yuck!) Not sure why you would consider an Antibiotic to help a problem the Antibiotics caused. If you want to improve the organisms in your gut, why not take acidophillis tablets. This is how I cured my cronic and miserable heartburn. Like you, I tried the conventional route for over a year and got tired of popping pills (proton pump inhibitors) and getting exams. I was tested for h-pylori and also had an endoscopy. I started at 2 tablets of acidphillis 30 minutes before each meal and by the end of the month only really needed one dose per day. That was years ago. Now a days, when my heartburn acts up, I just eat some yogurt and it helps so much! Also, have you tried Kefir smoothy, it's in the dairy section of the supermarket, it has many strains of healthy bacteria and you can also experiment with kambucha tea. It's a tea that also contains some beneficial strains. The kambucha tea causes a lot of die off though. I can only drink a few ounces per day for like three days every few weeks.
